Whether you’re 13 or 73, completely new to karate or returning after time away, our Senior Class is the right environment to, get active, build confidence, and learn kyokushin karate. Students train alongside each other in small class sizes, with instructors providing support so everyone progresses.

What To Expect
Real Karate, at Your Own Pace
Traditional Kyokushin
Full-contact and semi-contact fighting, fitness, kihon and kata.
All Abilities Welcome
Complete beginners through to experienced martial artists, everyone progresses at their own pace.
Grading & Progression
In-house gradings so you progress through the belt system without travelling.
Real Karate
Practical techniques rooted in traditional Kyokushin methodology.
Compete or Don’t
Competition is available for those who want it, it’s never required.
Family Training
Students 13yrs+ can train in the same class as parents and grandparents.

What’s Included When You Join
Membership is from £39/month for unlimited classes, with no fixed-term contracts. Your first class is completely free to see if it’s for you.
When you join, your Starter Pack (one off £45 payment) contains:
- Karate gi (uniform) with club badge
- Annual insurance

- Licence and Grading book (after your first grading)

- No experience needed: complete beginners are very welcome.
- All ages from 13+: teens train alongside adults in this mixed senior class.
- Wednesday sessions focus on technique, kihon and kata, ideal to start your karate journey.
- Sunday sessions build your fighting ability and fitness, as a perfect complemet for Wednesdays and a well rounded experience.
- DBS-checked, first-aid trained, safeguarding-qualified instructors.
- The only karate club in Ashford to hold the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts award.
- Appropriate class sizes maintained so instructors can give individual attention.
